1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Feelings, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Feelings. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. User Content & Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload, including text, images, journals, audio recordings, and other media. You grant Feelings a limited license to store, process, and display this content solely to provide app functionality.
You agree not to upload unlawful, abusive, harmful, or misleading content.
4. Shared Content & Partner Visibility
Certain content is visible to your connected partner by design (such as shared journals, messages, notes, and events). You are responsible for managing what you choose to share.
5. Permissions & Device Access
Feelings may request access to the following:
- Google Drive – for user-authorized media uploads
- Camera – to capture photos
- Microphone – to record voice messages or audio notes
- Storage / Media – to upload and access files
- Location – to calculate distance between partners
- Notifications – for messages, reminders, and alerts
All permissions are optional and used only when relevant to specific features.
6. End-to-End Encryption & Data Responsibility
Feelings uses end-to-end encryption to protect sensitive user content. Encryption keys are managed on user devices, and we cannot access encrypted data.
Due to encryption, certain data may not be recoverable if access is lost, a device is reset, or content is deleted. You acknowledge and accept this limitation.
7. Feature Changes & Availability
Features may be added, modified, or removed over time. This includes changes related to data storage, encryption, migration of older content, or notification behavior.
8. In-App Purchases
Feelings is currently free to use. Premium features or subscriptions may be introduced in the future with clear notice and updated terms.
9. Disclaimer
Feelings is intended to support communication and reflection between partners. It is not a substitute for professional counseling or therapy. We make no guarantees regarding relationship outcomes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Team Hazelnut is not liable for emotional distress, data loss, or damages resulting from use of the app.
11. Account Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse features, or engage in harmful behavior.
12. Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of Feelings after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
